Murū Studio was founded in 2024.
It was born from a lifelong fascination with jewelry rooted in my culture and rich heritage. Growing up, pieces were passed from mother to daughter, from one generation to the next. It carried stories, memories and, above all, meaning. It wasn't "just" jewelry. It was a feeling, a place, a moment all captured in our life.
Each piece became a time capsule. It brought us back to the moment it was gifted, inherited or discovered. It brought me to places I had never been. Stories from my family and loved ones. Over time, it became a part of who we were and maybe even who we wanted to become.
I've always cherished that feeling. That moment in time, when my mother would talk about it. How each piece always had a history. It had a story of its own. It held a place in her heart and in her memories. How my family would talk about jewelry being gifted to them, in marriage, in childbirth, or just because. Each of it held a version of them. A version they missed, a version they no longer resonated with or a version they wanted to be.
At Murū, our focus is to create modern pieces that are worth passing down and being talked about. Our mission is to be a part of your story. Whichever one you choose to share.
